The mission of the Office of the Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel is to provide legal counsel to The University of Arizona, including The University of Arizona-South in Sierra Vista. We strive to provide, manage and coordinate timely and responsible legal advice about the broad array of legal issues that face a modern public research University. In its advisory capacity, the Office serves and guides our campus community on diversity matters, and regularly provides individual and group training sessions on diversity-related issues campus-wide. Whether it presents trainings directly or partners with its colleagues here on campus or from the national community, the Office strives to bring an awareness of diversity issues to the forefront of our campus dialogue.
