Robert Robinson

Associate General Counsel

Robert Robinson joined the Office of the General Counsel in December 2024. He maintains a broad business and transactional practice for the University, with a focus on real estate, construction, corporate law, governance, policy, and contract review.

Prior to joining the University, Mr. Robinson served as in-house counsel for a national transportation and logistics company and as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mr. Robinson also previously served as a senior-level intercollegiate athletics administrator for multiple higher education institutions.

Mr. Robinson received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Tennessee and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Tennessee and is pending admission to the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. Robinson is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and previously co-lectured a Sports Law course at the University of New Mexico School of Law.
