Robert Robinson joined the Office of the General Counsel in December 2024, where he advises the University of Arizona Health Sciences colleges on healthcare operational, regulatory, and transactional matters. His practice also includes corporate governance and compliance matters, real estate and construction transactions, athletics, and institutional policy development.

Prior to joining the University, Mr. Robinson served as in-house counsel for a national transportation and logistics company and as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He has also held senior leadership roles in intercollegiate athletics at multiple higher education institutions. 

Mr. Robinson received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Tennessee and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and Tennessee. Mr. Robinson is also a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
