Bruce Skolnik joined The University of Arizona as a University Attorney in 2008. Mr. Skolnik represents the University in matters pertaining to intercollegiate athletics and student affairs. Prior to joining the University, Mr. Skolnik represented the State of Arizona through the Liability Management Section of the Arizona Attorney General's Office in Tucson. In this almost nineteen year tenure with that office, he defended various State agencies, including the Arizona Board of Regents, in state and federal tort and civil rights litigation. Mr. Skolnik also clerked for the Hon. James Duke Cameron, Justice on the Arizona Supreme Court, and worked in private practice for a number of years.
Mr. Skolnik is a 1984 graduate of The University of Arizona College of Law, where he served as Note & Comment Editor for the Arizona Law Review. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
